Yoga for Social Justice

When we are in a balanced state, we make better decisions and respond more effectively to the challenges of social justice work. Yoga offers many techniques we can use before, during and after a provocation or conflict to help us act from a place of strength. We will practice a variety of techniques that can be used for a daily practice, during a challenging event and to help recover afterwards. These will include movement, nyasa (placement such as mudras), chanting, breathe work and visualization.

BRING: Mat or towel

WEAR: Comfortable nonrestrictive clothing
