On the Plus Side

Have you ever wondered why at times the smallest person in the class can feel like the heaviest when grappling? At times you might even feel like they are taking your breath away. It all has to do with the disbursement of their weight and where to apply pressure. Practicing how to hold your opponent without over-taxing your body physically will help you gain more control with your side mount and top game. This class will teach you the dynamics of side control, where to apply pressure, and how to transition yourself maintaining more control as your opponent attempts their escape. You will become more confident allowing yourself to move in a fluid way without losing your position. It will also allow you to conserve your energy while your opponent gets tired.
